Using Pupstep
Pupstep is a virtual dog widget for iPhone. The app reads your Apple Health steps and walking/running distance after you grant permission, then uses that on-device data to update your dog and Home Screen widget.
Health and fitness limitations
Pupstep is for casual motivation and personalization. It is not medical advice, health advice, fitness coaching, diagnosis, treatment, or a safety service. Do not rely on Pupstep as your only source for activity, health, or emergency information.
Apple Health access
You control Health access in iPhone Settings. If Health data is unavailable, denied, delayed, or not readable, Pupstep may not update walking progress. iOS also controls when widgets and background refreshes run.
Purchases
Optional paid breeds and accessories are non-consumable cosmetic purchases processed by Apple through the App Store. They do not change HealthKit behavior, activity calculations, or walking goals. Purchase availability, billing, refunds, and family sharing are handled by Apple and your App Store account settings.
Acceptable use
Use Pupstep only as allowed by law and Apple's terms. Do not attempt to disrupt the app, bypass App Store purchase handling, or misuse the app in a way that interferes with other users, Apple services, or Pupstep support.
Availability and changes
Pupstep is provided as available. Features, dog art, widget behavior, purchase catalog, and copy may change over time. Widget updates and background refreshes depend on iOS scheduling and may not happen immediately.
Warranty disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pupstep is provided without warranties of any kind. Pupstep is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
