Health steps are not updating

Open iPhone Settings, go to Health, then Data Access & Devices, then Pupstep, and confirm step and distance access are enabled. Apple does not let apps inspect every Health read permission directly, so checking Health settings is the best way to resolve missing steps. If Apple Health has no steps for today yet, Pupstep may show a waiting or no-data state.

Widget is not updating

Open Pupstep once to refresh your latest progress snapshot, then wait for the Home Screen or Lock Screen widget timeline to update. iOS controls widget refresh timing.

Restore purchases

Open Pupstep, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Restored purchases can include the All Dogs bundle, individual paid breeds, and accessories bought with the same Apple account.

Bond progress or the Cozy Scarf is missing

Bond progress records newly completed active days on this iPhone. Quiet days do not remove progress. The Cozy Scarf is earned after three completed active days and is separate from App Store purchase restoration.

Daily reminder is not appearing

Open Pupstep Settings and confirm the reminder toggle is on. If notification access was denied, use the in-app guidance to open iPhone Settings and allow notifications for Pupstep.
